Dinsmore & Shohl\u2019s patent procurement and management group was ranked in the top 10 of The Patent Lawyer<\/em> magazine\u2019s list<\/a> of best practices, specifically in the publication\u2019s North America \u2013 South region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To determine the leading patent and intellectual property firms, the magazine\u2019s editorial and research team analyzed various factors, including law firms\u2019 achievements within the last year, work in niche areas and unique strengths, accessibility, third-party rankings, client testimonials, accomplishment recognition and activity within the legal field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Patent Lawyer<\/em> ranking marks the latest recognition for Dinsmore\u2019s intellectual property department. Earlier this month, the firm\u2019s trademark group earned a gold ranking<\/a> as part of the World Trademark Review 1000, which identifies the world\u2019s leading trademark professionals. Five of the firm\u2019s trademark attorneys received accolades for their expertise and trademark insight. World Trademark Review has recognized Dinsmore for its trademark practice since 2014<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intellectual property work continues to be a strength for Dinsmore. Clients of all sizes, including many in the Fortune 500, rely on Dinsmore\u2019s 110-plus IP attorneys for their most complex needs. Since 2015, more than 100 IP attorneys have joined the firm<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Patent Lawyer<\/em>\u2019s rankings also take into account firms\u2019 diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, an area where Dinsmore continues to make great strides. In 2021, the firm was awarded Best in Class for diversity in the legal profession<\/a> by Crain\u2019s Cleveland Business. <\/em>In addition, Dinsmore earned Mansfield Rule 4.0 Certification Plus for the 2021 diverse leadership hiring initiative<\/a>, which asks law firms to consider at least 30 percent women, lawyers of color, LGBTQ+ and lawyers with disabilities for leadership roles.
