We also recognize the need to provide legal assistance in a country where the history of discrimination creates many gaps \u2013 in housing, education, health care, and justice \u2013 and further threatens the fundamental right of each citizen to cast a ballot.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"345\" height=\"100\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dinsmore.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/pnc_3x1-ec649248c6ed4402b637bc088bb89ad1.srl-crop-3.png\" alt=\"PNC logo\" class=\"wp-image-5225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dinsmore.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/pnc_3x1-ec649248c6ed4402b637bc088bb89ad1.srl-crop-3.png 345w, https:\/\/www.dinsmore.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/pnc_3x1-ec649248c6ed4402b637bc088bb89ad1.srl-crop-3.png?resize=300,87 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 345px) 100vw, 345px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Volunteer attorneys from PNC and Dinsmore will provide telephone advice and legal consultation to clients of Prairie State Legal Services in a 36-county area that covers northern and central Illinois, where legal assistance for low-income clients is scarce or non-existent. Prairie State\u2019s mission is to ensure equal access to justice to people who typically can\u2019t afford the services of an attorney.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Ohio, PNC and Dinsmore attorneys will provide assistance to the Ohio Justice and Policy Center for its Beyond Guilt program, which seeks to identify inmates who are good candidates for early release based on criteria showing they are prepared to become productive members of society.&nbsp;OJPC receives a significant volume of applications from inmates in Ohio, and PNC and Dinsmore attorneys will help screen those applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"135\" height=\"135\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dinsmore.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Binetti-Tim_Circle.srl-crop-1.png\" alt=\"Tim Binetti\" class=\"wp-image-5228\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPNC and Dinsmore attorneys are deeply committed to serving the communities in which we live and work,\u201d said Dinsmore Chicago partner Tim Binetti. \u201cOur partnership again this year for Pro Bono Week offers us an opportunity to help those who need us most.
