The program, designed by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), trains high-performing and early-career attorneys in critical career development strategies, including leadership and professional network building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cComing to Dinsmore and Cincinnati has been a welcomed change,\u201d said Davis, who\u2019s from New York. \u201cI love the size of this city, and I am able to get involved. I\u2019m building faster relationships with my colleagues and clients.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dinsmore.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Davis-Govinda_Circle.srl-crop-1.png\" alt=\"Govinda M. Davis\" class=\"wp-image-4734\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>According to LCLD, the Pathfinder Program offers participants \u201cintensive in-person training, online experiential learning, and opportunities to network with peers and esteemed LCLD Fellows in small group gatherings.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in 2009, LCLD is a growing organization comprised of more than 320 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners. The Pathfinder Program targets junior lawyers in law firms and corporate legal department who have demonstrated potential to become future leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Davis came to Dinsmore as a lateral attorney nearly four years ago. She\u2019s an associate in the intellectual property group, and her work focuses on copyright and trademark law. Davis guides clients through trademark and copyright issues and enjoys working with large business clients as well as individuals and minority-owned business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When she is not out exploring the city, Davis has found an unlikely exercise routine. She started figure skating about six years ago and was training for competitions before she moved to Cincinnati.
