{"id":3511,"date":"2020-02-19T15:57:00","date_gmt":"2020-02-19T15:57:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dinsmore.com\/?p=3511"},"modified":"2025-12-22T04:11:35","modified_gmt":"2025-12-22T04:11:35","slug":"3-dinsmore-partners-named-to-lawyers-of-color-power-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dinsmore.com\/news\/3-dinsmore-partners-named-to-lawyers-of-color-power-list\/","title":{"rendered":"3 Dinsmore Partners Named to Lawyers of Color Power List"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Dinsmore &amp; Shohl LLP\u2019s steadfast commitment to diversity has been rewarded again in 2020, this time with the inclusion of three members of the firm\u2019s board of directors on Lawyers of Color\u2019s fifth annual Power List, which recognizes the most influential minority attorneys and allies in the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The list includes Diversity Committee Chair Marty Dunn, National Recruiting Committee Co-Chair Christian Gonzalez and Dinsmore Chairman and Managing Partner George Vincent, who made the list in the Allies category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-6c531013 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dinsmore.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Dunn-Marty-2018_Circle.srl-crop-1.png\" alt=\"Marty Dunn\" class=\"wp-image-4693\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dinsmore.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Vincent-George_Circle.srl-crop-1.png\" alt=\"George Vincent\" class=\"wp-image-4694\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dinsmore.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Gonzalez-Christian-Circle-2-srl-crop-1.png\" alt=\"Christian Gonzalez\" class=\"wp-image-3516\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m thrilled George is on the list this year, because he doesn\u2019t always get the acknowledgment he deserves,\u201d said Dunn, who also made the Power List in 2019. \u201cGeorge is passionate about diversity and genuine in his commitment. He makes it a core value of the firm, and he focuses on the substance of achieving diversity and inclusion, not just the cosmetics, which is not often the case in this industry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Gonzalez, who is vice president of the Hispanic National Board Association (HNBA), the award is one of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dinsmore.com\/news\/dinsmores-christian-gonzalez-earns-3-prestigious-diverse-attorney-awards\/\">three in quick succession<\/a>. In recent weeks, he was also named an HNBA Top Lawyer Under 40 and made <em>Latino Leader Magazine\u2019s<\/em> Top Latino Lawyers of 2019 list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs a first generation Cuban American and first in my family to graduate college and continue to law school, I am humbled, honored and thankful to all who have helped me get to this level,\u201d Gonzalez said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dunn described Gonzalez as a \u201crising star\u201d not just at Dinsmore but in the legal profession at large.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s an exceptional lawyer,\u201d Dunn said. \u201cHe\u2019s building a great body of work. He mentors young lawyers, and he generates a buzz of compliments, even when he\u2019s not in the room. That is the true reflection of the quality of his efforts, dedication and reputation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dinsmore\u2019s three Power List honorees join a distinguished list of diverse attorneys recognized in recent months. Weeks ago, Alicia Bond-Lewis was elected to the Cincinnati Children\u2019s Hospital board of trustees. In January, Govinda Davis was named an LCLD Pathfinder earlier this month.
